Something of the Day: Long Live My New Laptop!

Well, after the untimely departure of my trusty iBook G4 after only 3 years of loyal service, I knew that I needed to fill the void in my life with another of the same breed. I would've gotten a PC except that you don't buy a cat when you're a dog person. Animal metaphors aside, my new laptop is a Macbook with an Intel processor. Here's some of the specs.

OS: Mac OSX 10.5.2
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
RAM: 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Hard Drive: 250GB

One thing that sorta bugs me is that the graphics card screws up a lot. I noticed similar issues with my wife's iMac and I'm wondering if Apple has started using substandard graphics cards to save money. This would suck because I have no idea how to upgrade the graphics card in a Mac. Oh well.

All in all, it's a good little machine and I love the magnetic power adapter.
